I met dear Dorothy and Ken when I was then girlfriend/fiancee to dear Richard.They welcomed me fondly into the Poyntz fold, where I became, and remained,I hope, a member of the family. Over the years I went through some bad times, and, despite her own troubles, Dorothy was unquestioningly supportive, always there for me, and for a time, 5 Ashcombe Court was my London home. I remember so well Dorothy cooking her signature dishes - Lemon pudding, Chocolate Pudding (with the sauce in the middle), and home made soup - especially Carrot and Butter Bean! Dorothy was much loved, and I feel so privileged to have been so close to her. I miss her greatly. Rest well dear Dorothy with your loved ones. God Bless. xx Lin.
